How to Start Dating in Your 50's

How to Start Dating in Your 50's By Arlie DuBois It's tough to start dating in your 50's when you've been with the same person for so many years. The process gets easier once you find the first date. You may have gone through a messy divorce or you lost your spouse. Whatever the reason, you are lonely and want to get on with your life. Look for a dating service that offers help in setting up your profile. You want to be matched with someone that's compatible. The best dating company will run a background check and screen the applicant. They care about their clients and want to help as much as possible to find them the right person. Maybe you are looking for someone in their fifties and he has lost his wife or gone through a divorce too. You want him to have interests that you have and show kindness and respect. You're at the age where you don't want to make the big mistake of getting matched with the wrong person. Do your research and find the dating service that caters to your age group. Some people in this age group have a tough time trusting others as they have probably had bad experiences with someone in the past. You need someone you can trust that is understanding to your needs with a great personality. When you've been matched from the dating service, and you are ready for your first date, be sure to write down questions you want to ask him. Find out what he likes to do, and if you have pets, ask him about his pets. There will be things you both have in common, it's just asking the questions. When you meet him for the first time, you will know in a matter of minutes if you like him and he will know too. Keep your financial status to yourself, because if you have money you won't know if he likes you or the money. Don't tell him about your personal affairs such as how much your house is worth, or how many kids and grandkids you have. Save all that for another time. If he seems over-bearing and rude, make an excuse to leave. If after you meet him and you just don't like him, find a way to cut the meeting short. There is true romance for you out there; you just need to know where to look. There is someone for everybody and you're no different. There's never a good reason why a person has to be alone at any age. Now is the time to learn how to start dating in your 50's and you will find the true one. If you are a Tampa single looking for a relationship, tired of the dating games, tired of online dating and/or tired of blind dates, let's talk. My Tampa Dating Communicating With Women

We all know that this world is full of women, but all are different. It is said that it is very hard to understand women that's why here are some true statements about how they communicate that you can learn from and see how it applies to your girlfriend, wife or other woman you know. Women don’t need to have a particular reason to talk; they like to talk because it creates connection. So they always want to have near them someone who wants to listen and talk with them. Also, women use talking as a way to release tension. There are a lot of conflicts inside a couple about communication because, for women, talking something out over and over again eventually dissipates the stuck energy around it. They hate being told to get over it, that you don' t have time to listen. If rambling conversation drives you crazy or you don’t have a lot of time let her know what time you do have and give her the attention. You should listen to her without trying to find a point or solution. Women express their thinking and feeling process out loud. Hearing themselves talk helps women get clear on what is going on inside of them. The process of expressing their thoughts out loud actually allows them to figure out what they’re thinking and feeling. So you should be a good listener and show that you are interested in what she thinks and feel. They don't like the men which enjoy having a specific purpose for the conversation. Women communicate with details. They love details; that’s why a woman’s interest in the details about your life is not an attempt to interrogate you or invade your privacy and their habit of sharing the details of their life is not an attempt to take up too much of your time. Rather, they are trying to connect. If you want to surprise her try to make some remarks using some details for example the way she is dressed, the color of her eyes... Women minimize how upset they are. In order to keep the peace, women often don’t express how upset they really are. They don’t stand up for themselves, and they downplay the severity of their dissatisfaction. When they said that are alright but still look upset, they are still upset. If you take the time to try to get a woman to say what she really feels, that attempt alone will actually make her feel better because she knows you cared enough to try. They don't like the men which, in order to avoid a confrontation take her answer literally and leave it when she says that is fine but still look upset. They love to insist and find out what she really think and try to make her feel better. Show her that you care and it is important to you her happiness. In general, they like to have a lot of friends (I mean girlfriends) with whom to share all their thoughts, dreams and secrets which a man would never understand. Most of them don't feel secure to have an open talk with their partner and to be completely honest like she is with her friends. So women are well aware that most of the time they are a profound mystery to men.

My Tampa Dating- Confidence With Women

Self-confidence is a major factor which can determine the success of a man towards approaching a woman. It can make or break a relationship in a snap. Self-confidence is generally defined as one’s view of himself, his capabilities and his potentials. There are men who are plainly wrong in giving all of their efforts to deliver what women want. This is wrong in the sense that one must love oneself before he can love others. Courting and dating are pretty much like having a job interview. A job interview aims to assess one’s abilities and confidence. An applicant can actually make up stories about his experience and his talents, that’s why the employer assesses him mostly on how he presents himself and on his confidence. This is also the main principle behind being with women. So how does one develop confidence towards women? Here are some ways on how a guy can be better in dealing with girls: - Take some time out for yourself Again, it all begins with oneself. If a guy has low confidence towards women, he might want to give himself some time away from women and stop trying for a while. He may want to list down the things that he doesn’t like with himself, his insecurities in life and his fears. He may then proceed into detailed assessment of the reasons behind such negative thoughts about himself. Then, he must propose solutions for his own betterment. The solutions should be carried out with dedication and inspiration. This move will not only make a man more confident amidst women, but amidst anyone in general. If one sees oneself with beauty, then he will become more confident. -Don’t be afraid of women Some men are simply afraid of women. For some reason, even the thought of approaching women scares them. Hopefully, the first step can help solve this awful problem by assessing oneself and finding solutions to one’s insecurities. However, dealing with women is on a whole different level. Women speak a language that is different from what men use. Men and women also think and act differently. All these factors can scare a man away from women. A man must know how to deal with women, he will use this skill eventually in romantic relationships. Having casual conversations with women friends, colleagues and acquaintances will give a man the much needed map towards a woman’s mind. The ability to smoothly talk with women can come in at a later time but this can only be done if one is comfortable with talking with the ladies. - Listen to stories There is more than one way to develop the skill in dealing with women. Talking to women and being comfortable around them can be an approach, but a man can also learn from other men. Men usually talk about shallow things when it comes to women, but there are moments when men’s talk is taken in a whole different level. Moments of sensibility attacks men and they share their wholesome experiences in dealing with women. One must be keen in listening to these stories and must not take them for granted. men. -Don’t be too needy There are other things in life that are as equally important as women. A man must not destroy his life by trying too hard to get girls. Sometimes, when people don’t expect it, the best things come. A man should not take the pressure of getting girls to extent of leaving everything behind and making girls his number one priority. Some people marry, some stay single, and this is a reality that every man must accept. There are many ways to achieve fulfillment and happiness in life. This kind of philosophy can boost one’s confidence in women and will improve women’s view towards him. Boosting one’s confidence towards women would require a personal commitment. It is not achieved by acquiring more wealth or by getting on a diet. A re-shaping of one’s own view of himself is the key element towards achieving this goal.

Tampa Dating- Dealing with stress

Stress is one of the most common used words. it is also one of the most common problems we all face. Stress kills the joy of living. Think about your friends, and you will surely point to one who always looks stressed. Who rushes from one work to another? Who has no time to sit down and think peacefully? Stress is the way of life for him/her. What kind of success do such people get in dating? Very less. Let us see why? They will be stressed with the very thought of how the date will go? Whether the setting will be right/ whether he/she like me/ what if I speak some rubbish and hurt her/him? All such negative thoughts come in the mind of such people. They kill all the positive thoughts and think passively as if the sky was going to fall down. On the day of dating, they would somehow miss the time. They may not have chosen the proper outfit? They would rush to the meeting place and disturb their mind in the process. It is the game of stress. Stress that is caused by thinking about - what if everything goes wrong? And predictably because of the stress, everything goes wrong. Please relax. Let things go wrong if that is destined. Don’t worry about them. Relax and prepare calmly. Meet your date with a undisturbed mind. Don’t rush. If you are late say sorry and go forward. Try to enjoy and try to make your date enjoy your togetherness. Let the stress go and good and positive thought come in your mind. Stress never helps in dating. It rather kills all the chances of success.www.mytampadating.com

My Tampa Dating-Dating After Divorce

Dating after a divorce is tough. You don’t quite know where to start so here are a few internet dating mistakes and their solutions. 1. Too much too soon So you have been ploughing through those endless profiles on your internet dating site and have come up with someone who interests you. There has been an exchange of emails. He sounds fun and witty and you begin to look forward to his messages. You find yourself getting up earlier in the morning just to log on whilst you drink your coffee to see if he has sent a response to your latest remarks. During the day you compile witty replies in your head and suggestive lines to throw his way. This has gone on for a couple of weeks and he suddenly asks if he can call you. Your chest expands; you are really excited and arrange a time. Now you are curled up in your favourite chair waiting for the call. Guess what it goes well, the same light banter, his voice is not what you expect but that is OK. You talk for an hour. This becomes a daily ritual which you begin to plan your time around. And then he invites you to dinner... 2. Throwing money at it It has been a while since someone invited you out to dinner (you may be just starting dating after your divorce). Your immediate thought is what to wear, need my hair done etc. This means that you spend the best part of a week running around with the one thought in your mind “I must get this rigt”. You seem to have disappeared and you feel that you need to invent a new person to go on this date. In order to be that person you have to package yourself in some particular way. There must be some key that you can find, a particular dress, new haircut etc. You believe that you need to make yourself more appealing. 3. Thinking that you know the person The evening has arrived and you meet at the arranged restaurant (good step, as all the dating advice recommends that you meet in a public place). You are especially nervous and excited but also slightly uncomfortable because the shoes are new and you feel a bit wobbly in them. It is strange you recognise this person but at the same time you don’t. The voice you know that but he does not look like the person in the photograph, taller, shorter a bit heavier or gangly something is not as you imagined. Anyway he seems quite at ease but maybe that is just a contrast to how you are feeling. Initially conversation is going well as there are points of contact from your previous conversations but it isn’t going anywhere. By the main course you are starting to drink a little too much to fill in the silences. Your feet really hurt now and you are taking surreptitious glances at your watch – only 9 o’clock. No dessert thanks and by the way you have an early start in the office tomorrow so you have to go soon. Can’t think of anything but getting out of the shoes. Yes it was good, do call me… 4. Fantasy – it’s only in your head Next day or later in the week, the emails/calls are still coming and you continue to respond. It’s a though you have never met and you can get on with the easy going repartee that has become almost a habit. In your mind he is something you want him to be, well not quite but you can have yourself believe that he is whilst you exchange messages and late night calls. You are starting to develop a whole life in your head around this person, you imagine where you can live with him, what you will do, holidays together in fact everything you ever want witsomeone. This is taking up a lot of head space but that is enjoyable in itself, you feelconnected to someone if only in your mind. 5. Not paying attention to the signals A week or so more and you are becoming slightly irritated by the emails and are not responding quite so readily. But he asks you if you want to come out for another evening and that heart leaps to your throat again. You agree even though there is a vague memory of discomfort from th first meeting. Well you remind yourself that all the dating advice recommends that it is about getting to know someone. I can’t expect to feel comfortable about everything immediately. He is suggesting dinner again, you don’t really want to but you are not sure what you want to do so you go along with it. You had arranged to see a girl-friend that night but you tell her you can’t make it, she seems a bit put-out but you put that thought aside. The second evening seems very long.
Too much too soon – It is so tempting to put all your focus on one person at a time when you are looking to date on the internet. But it is important to remember that not only are all those people out there looking at numerous people at any one time but you could be too. If you put most of your time and energy into any one contact at a very early stage this means that you cannot scout, screen and sort other possible people. Dating Advice: Don’t make a big investment emotionally in any relationship without solid foundations.
Throwing money at it - Recent research has revealed that online daters are spending up to £1,500 a month taking out people who they realise, after the first 15 minutes are not for them. (Independent, June 2005) Remember be authentic, the packaging is only that and is not who you are. Meeting for a cup of coffee or a drink will give you enough time to assess whether this person is someone you want to know better. Dating Advice: Packaging is not the answer, be clear about who you are, what you want in a relationship and set about finding it in a considered way.
Thinking you know this person – We can easily be seduced by email conversations and late night telephone calls. Apart from the actual chemistry that is missing in these exchanges there is that part that you know very well yourself, where you just reveal what you want at any given time. If you know what your requirements are in a relationship this will help you assess quite quikly if this person is for you. Most of us allow things to just drift along and are not pro-active in having a plan for ourselves when it comes to relationships. Dating Advice: How is it we plan for everything except relationships? Take some time to plan what you want in a relationship before you get into a habit or rut with someone.
Fantasy – it’s only in your head – It is very easy to live in the fantasy of a relationship even from a very early stage. After all that is why you have signed up on the dating site in the first place – you want a relationship. However, being truthful with yourself is easier if you have a relationship plan. Then you can ask yourself, from the information you have so far, does this person tick some of my boxes. If so then you can continue to find out more about them whilst finding out about other people at the same time. Projecting onto any one person, especially at a very early stage, all you hopes and dreams is likely to bring you some amount of pain and heartache when you find this isn’t going to work out. Dating Advice: Spread the emotional load by giving your attention to a number of people, it helps deal with the ups and downs of the dating cycle if you are not exclusive right from the start
Not paying enough attention to the signals – it is amazing how quickly we can get ourselves into habits and relationships, however new, are one of those areas. We all like attention and contact with people but what about the rest of your life, those friends who have been around for you, your family. Anyone who might be for you will, you hope, want to share life with a person who has a balanced life and that includes all the other activities and people in your life. Straining towards exclusivity at a very early stage and throwing all your time and attention towards the relationship can be a disaster. Dating Advice: Get out there and have any dating and relationships fit in with your life as a successful single. Know what your requirements, needs and wants are and look for someone who can meet these.

My Tampa Dating Dating Tips

It must be really tough. Do you think you are just a victim of bad luck and that’s the reason Ms. Perfect hasn’t appeared in your life yet? Or have you decided that maybe Ms. Perfect only exists on movie screens and not out here in the real world? BINGO! You’ve got it. She doesn’t exist anywhere except in your imagination and on movie screens. The truth of the matter is that the reason Ms. Perfect hasn't appeared has nothing to do with your luck, good or bad, but everything to do with you and the fact that you are busy looking for a person that doesn't exist! You can't date with your eyes closed and some impossible dream in your head. You'll get so caught up in this whole exercise of dating that you forget to look for the qualities you seek! You haven't met the person of your dreams because you aren't looking for the things that will make them close enough to perfect for you. You are so confident that every woman you have met could not give you what you wanted. But what was it that you wanted in the first place? Once you are sure of what you want, you will know exactly what to look for in your woman. What are the qualities that you feel are necessary in a person? What are the attributes you are willing to make a compromise on? Have you thought about all these? Remember, that nobody on this earth is perfect. Everybody has faults…some are bigger faults than other faults. Some are faults you can overlook and some are faults that you couldn’t overlook on your best day and if she was the most beautiful, most sexy woman on the planet. When you meet a woman, remember, however hard you try to impress others, you cannot control their thought processes. Instead, it’s far better to concentrate on your needs and desires, and how much of what you need would be fulfilled if you dated this woman. You can great more dating tips at www.mytampadating.com, Follow us twitter @TampaDating

Tampa Dating Service Romance

Can you say “I love you” too many times? Well, if you don't really mean it of course you can. Or maybe it's the unimaginative ways we express it that compel us to stop using the words “I love you” altogether. Love is not just an emotion or feeling. Love is something we must see with our eyes, not just feel with our heart. In order to keep the word love from being common place we must keep it alive with the things we do for that special person in our life. Be it a soft burning, sweet smelling candle lighting a dark room with a delicious dinner for two on the table, and the soothing sound of music in the background; surprising your sweetheart with something romantic is a great way of showing them how much you love and care for them. Too many times we think it is enough just to say “I love you” to our sweetheart. We are then off the hook to really work at keeping the relationship fresh and exciting. If you are clueless as what would put the “sparkle” back in your relationship, try a few if these simple things: Give your sweetheart a wonderful back rub, gently telling them to relax and unwind from their day at work or with the kids, etc. While you are both relaxed, this is a good time to tell them you love them and that they mean the world to you. When you take the time to give them your time and attention without expecting something in return, this makes the word “love” more meaningful. Try arranging a special day for the two of you to do something the other enjoys. Participate in that activity with them, even though it's not your favorite thing to do and give them all your attention and just cherish the day. The words “I love you” will come freely from both of you at the end of the day. Your sweetheart will see that you mean what you say by giving of yourself. If you enjoy writing or are creative you might try your hand at composing a short poem or “love” letter to them, or buy a beautiful card or small little gift. Go ahead and leave it under the bed pillow for them, or anywhere they might be surprised to find it. How about doing some chores or work around the house before your sweetheart asks you to? Maybe even do something more than they would expect you to do. Before their very eyes it is done, without them nagging you. How much you love them couldn't be more apparent. When said at the appropriate times, with just the right feeling from your heart, truly the simple words “I love you” can be the most exhilarating sounds your ears will hear.www.mytampadating.com

My Tampa Dating

Tampa Dating: How to stop being nervous on your first date At last, the day has arrived when you will go out with the woman introduced to you by the dating site, Tampa Dating. Inside, you’re nervous as hell but outwardly you’re as confident as ever. Things could have been worse for you if it wasn’t for all the advice Tampa Dating gave you on how to behave on this special and very important day. Body language, said Tampa Dating, is the key to success on your first date. It enters a room before you do and sets the tone for the conversation, so ensure that your mind and body are relaxed and you smile confidently and are completely at ease. Remember when you’re tense, you fold your arms on your chest and scowl. Now, since you are playing the part of a confident person, behave differently—act and smile with confidence. Next, your conversation skills will reveal just how confident you are and this will make the other person decide whether you should meet again or not. So, speak confidently—after all, you’re out to have fun and keep an interesting conversation going. Nothing heavy and technical, but just something light and stimulating for both of you. If you want to ask her a few questions, do it gently. Don’t bombard her with a volley of questions, even if it’s important you have answers to them right today. You could ask her something like, “So, Amanda, what do you do on weekends?” if you want to know her interests. Or: “Do you really enjoy gardening? Isn’t it hard stuff—all that digging, cutting, mowing?” These questions might sound innocuous to her but her answers give you a clue as to the kind of person she is and whether you fit into her world. And just so that the conversation doesn’t end up in awkward silences, always ask open-ended questions. Your confidence should show through in your behavior—and one easy way is to be a good listener. Listen to her and ask a few questions every now and then, after all, you’re trying to get to know each other. You’ve come this far confident and happy, thanks to the dating advice from Tampa Dating. Obviously, you realize that hiring a dating service was the right thing to do—you’ve benefited immensely from all the tips and advice they gave you. And it’s made your dating scene so much easier to deal with. Perhaps, you did come across someone who dissuaded you from hiring Tampa Dating’s services, but think of the cost-efficiency for you: You no longer have to chase the wrong girl and try and woo her with flowers and gifts, not realizing she isn’t interested in you. Now, by hiring the services of Tampa Dating, you are being introduced to women who are as close as possible to your lifestyle, wavelength, interests and social circle. What more do you want? Wait! Don’t ask Tampa Dating for more women to meet or you’ll be spoilt for choice.Tampa Dating Service, www.mytampadating.com

Tampa Singles-Dating With a Blog?

It's easy to discount blogs as simply tools for newshounds, people who like to gripe or sell things, or teenagers. But blogs and their siblings webcasts are actually a great way to let potential dating and emailing partners know who you are. The best news is that they're easy to put together and you can do them for free. Creating A Blog The simplest way to do a blog is by opening a free account at Blogspot or a similar web service; there are also a few dating sites that are starting to let people blog on their services, though they generally charge a fee. Be certain to do all the basic work, like posting a picture or at least some sort of image to set you apart, and writing your bio. Now the real work begins. You can make your blog a simple online diary, where you record your daily deeds, or you can write some of your politics, or collect weird news stories and post them online. The only critical thing, if you're going to refer potential online dating site browsers to it, is that it must reflect who you really are. Never misrepresent yourself; it only leads to a lot of misery on both your part and your potential date's! Writing Ideas For Your Blog Don't know what to write? You can post absolutely anything you want, even snippets of songs you've heard. Do you write poetry or stories? That can go up. Or you can write about what happened to you today, or about your favorite hobby, a celebrity, or a charity you work for. Or you can focus on some of the common blog topics. A lot of people focus on a certain type of news, generally something they have an inside track on. This is what makes bloggers so formidable a news source. Do you work for a large pharmaceutical company? Don't ever give away corporate secrets or sneak around, but you can blog about what it's like, or what the real scoop is on the drug that's being panned in the news today. Do you have a really fascinating volunteer position with, say, search-and-rescue dogs? You can write about what it's really like going out to search for someone and finding them. If you think about it, everyone has something fascinating about themselves that they can write about. If that's scary to you, or you really can't think of anything, write about the things you'd like to do. Become a virtual tourist, and write about whitewater rafting with links out to pictures or tour companies. Or write about luxury boats. Share your passions so that your readers, and potential dates, can find out what you love.Tampa Singles,www.mytampadating.com

Tampa Dating-Are You Desperate to Date a Girl?

Don’t be! Finding the right girl for you to date takes a lot of confidence, honesty and time. A good place to start is visiting the places where a lot of people hang out, at the same time, places that you love so that you both have a thing in common. If you love going to coffee shops or going to clubs on Friday nights, then look for her there. It is important to meet a girl that do things similar to things that you do.

An effective and interesting way to meet a girl is through online matchmakers. These matchmaker sites will assist you so you can find the right girl for you. Here, you can read about their personalities and traits as well as you can talk to them and see their photos. Make certain that you take time in knowing the girl well before you invite and meet with her on a date.

If meeting girls online is not your “cup of tea” then you can meet girls at social gatherings, parties, clubs, disco or the gym. You can also organize a simple party and let your girl buddies to bring along their friends. The more girls that you meet, you have more chances of meeting that special girl for you. Just remember that you will not meet her just by staying at home. You have got to go out and look for her with conscious effort and a very alert mind.

And when you do find her, although it is a good thing to display your attraction and interest, never over do it; never tell her things that will make her run away from you.

Keep in mind not to ask the girl right away for a date; asking her too soon might scare her off. Instead, be casual and friendly; get to her a step at a time, before you decide to date her. Call her so you both can have a conversation and you will find some things about her. Then when you feel that the time is right and that you like her enough to spend an evening with her, then go and ask.

Congratulations! Now you are ready for a date (in case she answered yes). Here are guidelines on what to do:

1. Spend the evening in a place you know she loves. Since you already know what her “likes” are during your phone conversations, then you will have an idea where to bring her. Also be sure you like the place; this will be of no problem, since you met her in a place that you both enjoy visiting.

2. Dress right. This means dressing for the occasion and for the place; dress that you look and feel good. Take extra effort so that you are well groomed (shaved, smells nice, freshly ironed clothes and clean shoes). Remember, this is your first date and you have to put on that good and lasting impression on her.

3. Relax and be yourself. Do not put too much thought on whether she will like you or not. The fact that she said yes for this date means she likes you. When you are relaxed, you can converse well and make her at is as well.

4. Be courteous and polite. Be careful of the things you say and do as rude comments or anxious behavior is unpleasant and can offend her. Be considerate and respectful; when you smoke, ask her first.

5. Listen. At some point, let her do the talking and just listen attentively. By listening, your conversation will continue to flow. While it is good to ask her questions so that you can get to know her, be careful with your questions and avoid personal interrogation.

6. Be careful when selecting the food. From your phone conversations, learn what her favorites are. Likewise, carefully choose a menu that is not messy to eat.

7. Never ever get drunk. There is nothing humiliating then having a drunken date.

8. Never talk about your past relationships. Remember, the woman you like is with you now and a potential serious relationship at hand. Forget about the past.

9. End the date right, do not be overly pushy. Evaluate the situation. When you feel that you both had a good time and you like her, a hug or a brief kiss will do. Do not go beyond. This will just send out the wrong sign, signaling to her that you are either very desperate or that you are only out for sex. Do not forget to thank her and tell her that you had a wonderful.

So do not be desperate. There are a lot of women out there and if you will not find them, chances are, they will find you! Just be patient!

My Tampa Dating-Dating Tips

We all laugh at everyone’s dating disaster in some way. We all pretend to be very saddened by the person’s situation. But deep in our mind we are either snickering or thinking “what if that happened to me?” That’s why we just all laugh at those dating disasters because it helps compensate the pain. Here is a list of dating disasters or regrets that we could learn from.

1. Never date a married person. Dating a married person always guarantees disaster. This relationship will always be about deceit, lies and cheating. The unmarried party will also be led to expect something that could or might never happen; which is being in a serious relationship with the married person. It might also bother your conscience that you are destroying the life of the married couple. This relationship or dating period will never ever work out and be fun. It will always be filled with doubt.

2. Most people regret not settling down with their childhood sweetheart or 1st love at college. They always believe that there will be more fish out there so why settle down? There might be more fish out there but do they actually fit your taste and personality. Compared to that proven fish that you have already established with your childhood sweetheart or 1st college love. Some people who didn’t marry their childhood sweetheart will only think that they have settled for 2nd best only. This will be unfair to the other party, because you will always be thinking about that 1st love.

3. People always regret not taking the offer of the date when the offer was there. People will always ask the “what if” question. Just imagine all the girls who turned down Bill Gates now. Bottom line give the person a chance, it won’t hurt to have a sip of coffee for only 30 minutes. You might even find out you might click.

4. People also regret not ending a really bad relationship earlier. There might have been a time during the bad relationship that there was someone better who would’ve wanted to be with you. But because you were in that bad relationship you passed out on that other wonderful person. So if you think you’re just not in the right situation have the courage to end it.

These are the things that most people have regretted during their dating period. In fact some of their regrets ended up in disastrous “what ifs?” Be wise, have the balance of following your head and heart at the same time. Only you will know what is right for you.

My Tampa Dating-Dating With Confidence

Many people find it stressful to go on a first date. You feel under pressure to impress, you feel that you are under scrutiny and your faults will be exposed, you feel that some chance remark you make could be enough to ruin the entire evening. The effect of all these things can be greatly reduced by boosting your confidence. If you give out self confidence, this will be more attractive to your date and you'll enjoy the evening more. So how can you make yourself more confident?

Having confidence is just a state of mind, and it's more a matter of what "stories" you're telling yourself than it is about any good qualities or skills you might have. By this I mean that you keep telling yourself you are one of those people that are always the centre of attention. You know the type - the person that everyone is looking at and that everyone wants to talk to. If you tell yourself you are that kind of person then you are more likely to become that kind of person. So picture yourself as a confident person, work on keeping that mental image of yourself at all times.

Remember that it's only a date after all. It's not a matter of life or death. It won't decide the whole rest of your life, unless you end up marrying the person
you're going on the date with! So just enjoy the date for what it is, and keep telling yourself that's what you're there to do. This kind of thinking can take a lot of pressure off you, and make you seem more relaxed, which in turn will make you more attractive.

Tell the truth. Ther's no point in trying to pretend you are someone you're not or that you can do things you can't really do. For one thing it's hard work remembering what you've said when you made things up. Also, if you go out on another date with that person, eventually they're going to find out that you didn't tell the truth. This can be awkward at the very least and might lead to the loss of a potentially nice relationship. So just be yourself.

Of course, you want to play up your strengths and play down any weaknesses you might have. That's only natural. But don't do that at the expense of telling the truth. here is a difference. Your date will almost certainly be trying to highlight their own good points as well, that's just one of the rules of the dating game.

If you tell yourself that you are a special person, and an attractive person, and you talk yourself into confidence in yourself, it's more likely than not that your date will have confidence in you too.Follow us on twitter@Tampa Dating

Tampa Bay Lightning...see me at .23 :)

My Tampa Tampa -Dating tips

1.Take her somewhere that you go often. You'll give yourself a lot of credibility and value if you take her to place where everyone knows you. Stop and chat with the staff there. Learn their names and make sure they know yours. It only says good things about you. If you don't have a place like this yet, make one.

2.Take her to an interesting restaurant. It's a lot more fun to go eat sushi or some type of authentic ethnic food than just going to a more common restaurant. You don't want it too be so interesting that there's always something crazy going on and you can't talk to her. Just make sure it is a little different.

3.Relax.The more you relax and show that you're comfortable, the more your date will relax. If you feel like you're getting nervous or tense, just take a deep breath, relax your shoulder muscles and smile. Just focus on having a good time.

4.Get rid of your expectations. So many guys that I meet wrap expectations around everything they do. They think, "buying dinner = she's going to be my girlfriend or wife." If you just spend the time that you're together having a good time, acting like you would around someone you already know well and show that you couldn't care less if anything happens between the two of you, you'll have a much better chance of progressing things than if you act like she's the first girl you've seen in twenty years, acting really nervous and so dumb that she runs away.

5.Don't talk about normal boring topics or "guy topics".If you want to be like every other boring guy out there, talk about what job she has, where she has gone to or goes to college. Only talk about guy topics like sports, lifting weights or something like that if SHE is already very interested in them. Also, don't cling to a topic like it's the only thing you can talk about. If a conversation dies, let it go.

6.Have a story or two that you can tell if you run out of things to say One of the best ways to keep a conversation going is to have a few stories that you can tell at any time. When the conversation stops, just say, "Anyway," and go into a story. The story doesn't have to be something too amazing, just a little bit different.

Tell a story about a date that you went on where your date did something embarrassing or funny. Women love to talk about relationships and I've found that they are the easiest to come up with. If you're having problems, just grab a girly magazine and read it for 15 minutes. You should find more than enough things to talk about in there.

7.Know a little bit about a lot of things. You can ask me about almost anything and I probably know enough about it to talk for at least 5 minutes. The more you know about, the easier it will be to hold conversations on just about any topic.

8.If your date wants to talk, listen to her.People like to talk and get the feeling that what they have to say is important. This doesn't mean that you should ask her endless questions trying to get her to talk. If she's not talking, feel free to. But, don't interrupt her if she is.

9.Don't try to impress your date. One of the worst things a guy can do is talk about how much money he has, what kind of a car he drives or anything else that comes across as trying hard to impress. If you do have a cool house or car, let her find out when she sees it. And if she isn't impressed by it, don't be surprised. You're much better off by just being a relaxed, fun, cool guy than you are trying to impress her.

10.Have a plan. You should have your date planned in advance. And although you should have it planned, you should also be flexible. If something comes up that could be a lot of fun, don't be so rigid that you can't change plans. Your plan should be more of a guideline so that you always have something to do.Follow us on twitter@TampaDating

Online Dating

Technology has always been there to make lives of people easier. In fact, thanks to technology the world of emotions has also been conquered. Don’t try to think dirty here folks. What I’m talking about is the love connection that can happen through online dating sites and chatting rooms or software such as ICQ, MSN or MIRC.

Thanks to these websites and chat software people have been given a better chance to find their partner. This is because people are given the chance to be connected wherever they might be. All different cultures and walks of life are able to meet with a simple click of the keyboard. In short a person has got a better chance to meet his or her partner because of the greater number of daters. It is also easier to meet people online thanks to online date sites and chat rooms.

After chatting for a while and getting to know one another, it would be natural to meet. It would be a pretty shallow relationship if both of you are happy to be forever just chatting. Both persons may just be really looking for someone to talk to.

Finding love through the internet offers the two sides to get intimate right away. This is because it is easier to be yourself when chatting online. Just imagine that you can say anything stupid and you won’t see the other person thinking that it’s corny. Instead most chatters, even though you are pretty corny just type LOL (laugh out loud).

Because of the perception that you have built about yourself and the other person, meeting them becomes very hard. This is because of the perception you have given to him or her during chatting could not be really you. Both of you will then have higher expectations of who the real person really is.

Another problem that online chatting could present is the confidence of a person. Since it is easier to talk online, a person who is very shy or timid may have a hard time keeping up with who he or she really is. The person instead is like living both worlds.

When also meeting for the first time after long periods of chatting that could last in the wee hours of the morning, is being able to adjust. Both of you would have to figure out that it would be harder to talk on real life because of certain other factors involved. You are now both able to see the person’s mannerisms. This will be the toughest part that you would have to overcome. Once you have gone past this, the rest will be easier.

It is suggestible though to meet sooner rather than later. When meeting earlier at the chatting stages, this prevents both person having higher expectations. This also helps both parties to decide right away whether they are just better of friends or continue to develop the relationship. This helps both parties prevent disappointment and heartaches.
