The Wrong Way to Get Over a Painful Broken Heart
The Wrong Way to Get Over a Painful Broken Heart
The worst emotional feeling is a broken heart caused from a divorce, cheating spouse or even a loved one dying. It's natural to cover it up any way we can. Getting involved with someone too fast is the wrong way to get over a painful broken heart.
It can cause a life-long mistake because of irrational thinking. It hurts to think of someone you loved so much has left you to dwell in your pain. Many people look for comfort in the bars only to make things worse the next morning and then they start all over again.
They lose their job, home, family and pride. It takes time to mend a broken heart, but jumping into an affair or fling isn't the answer. There are people who meet someone on the rebound and end up getting married, and then later they regret what they have done.
Some go through dating sites and start a relationship that wasn't meant to be. They are vulnerable and some people lose their life savings and assets from an online dating scam artist. The scam artist tells them what they want to hear and he helps heal their broken heart and rips them off.
Some people go through a few divorces due to a broken heart. They're looking for their true love that dumped them, but they must think he is cloned. They need to go to singles events where they can meet people and have fun without the serious relationship.
Once their heart starts to mend, they'll be able to think rationally. Once enough time has passed, they'll be ready to think about a new love. When that time comes they need to attend a speed dating event or go to a good dating service that will help them with their profile.
A background check and screening will weed out the criminals and drug users. They will know the type of person they're looking for which will be someone entirely different from the one that broke their heart. Just a few minutes on their first date will tell them if they like this person. They can pursue more dates and learn to know who this person is, but they must take their time.
Members have jumped the gun too many times when looking for a new love. Love doesn't grow on trees, but there is one special person for everybody out there. It just takes time to meet that someone special. Just wanting to be with someone to stop the loneliness is the wrong way to get over a painful broken heart.
If you are a Tampa single looking for a relationship, tired of the dating games, tired of online dating and/or tired of blind dates, let's talk. My Tampa Dating is a dating site designed to incorporate personalized service with match making, singles events, speed dating, background checks and a staff that really cares about its members.

My Tampa Dating Dating Tips
Since Dating and Relationships are such a large, important part of everyday life, this article strives to help clear up myths from facts and present an overview of surrounding issues.
Show Off – If you have a great body you’re trying to show off and young physical appearance, yet worry because you still seem to have difficulty finding dates and establishing relationships, here are some pointers. Turn off the “ME” focus. Others tend to see that as boorish and think you only care about yourself, not others and certainly not them. Instead, turn the focus on outside interests that the other person can relate to, even if it has to be the weather. For help, tune in to an online news source like CNN or subscribe to a national or other major newspaper or magazine like Newsweek or head to the public library for the latest news briefs.
Online dating might be a good outlet for you, to as it generally offers a place to list all your great physical qualities as well as outside interests and more, presenting a more rounded dating candidate. Then those who are VERY interested in great abs, youthful appeal, etc. will be able to check you out. And those who are interested in the other interests can focus on those, too.
Sit, Don’t Take a Stand – Instead of voicing your opinions over issues that you pretty well know, cause heated arguments, don’t take a stand. Just sit them out. There’s no shame in passing up an argument. For example, if you both call yourselves “Christians,” yet one of you firmly has a complete set of rules and regulations about what a “Christian” really is, and doesn’t hesitate to voice this, skip over conversations about religion. If you have to, simply say something along the lines of, “This gets us too heated, so let’s pass on if for now and move on to something else.” Agree that it’s okay to disagree. Because it is!
Traditions – Keep up with some old traditions from each family. Alter some; create new ones. The main thing here is to make positive memories that you can share and relive over and over, especially during rough spots when you can’t remember why you are together. Traditions can be like glue and bind you with a common past.
Sex Vs Love – Sex and love are not the same thing. Learn the difference and don’t measure love by your hormones.
Negotiator – Forget “his” and “hers” roles and who “should” do what when…Learn to negotiate. What works one day may not work another when timing is off, kids are on the run and disaster strikes, for instance, when your mother-in-law drops by unexpectedly.
Love and Hate – Love your mate. It is OK to strongly dislike (or “maybe” hate) a behavior, like cracking knuckles or biting nails. But remember to love the person.

My Tampa Dating - Dating Tips
Being a good flirt has as much to do with not doing the wrong things as it does with doing the right things. Flirting is difficult because there's such a fine line between being successful and crashing and burning. It's so easy to do everything right, but then ruin all of your progress by making one of the all too common mistakes below.
1) Don't be crude
If you make obvious and nasty sexual innuendoes, you aren't being a turn on, you're being a pervert...unless you're a girl (then it's ok).
2) Don't ignore body language
Over 65% of communication is non-verbal. If you aren't actively looking at the way their body is shifting or what the person's eyes are saying, you're going to miss a lot of obvious signs that say "I'm into you, keep talking."...or..."You're a freak, and I don't want you around a second longer."
3) Avoid being overtly slick
It's fine to act cool, but don't go overboard. You won't seem like yourself...and that's not attractive.
4) Don't be silly
Flirting should make your target feel sexy and wanted, not entertained. You want to be perceived in a sexual way...not as the funny guy or girl.
5) Don't be excessively cute
If you act too cute (unsexy), you'll be seen as an innocent and nice person. That's great if you want to be just a friend, but not for anything more.
6) Cut your losses if it's obvious your actions aren't appreciated
If your flirtations are clearly visible and you aren't being flirted with back, it's time to pack it up and move on.
7) Don't show fear
Insecurity is perceived as a terribly unattractive sign of weakness. If you want to get your target to take you seriously, you've got to hide your nerves. This means no...stammering, fidgeting, wandering eyes (off into the distance), wavering voice, etc.
8) Avoid being overly touchy feely...unless you're a girl
This is specifically aimed at the guys. It's not appropriate to grope or touch a woman unless you know she likes you. If you aren't sure that she's into you, it's ok to lightly touch her shoulder or graze her arm...but that's it! Do not put your arm around her waist or constantly touch her shoulder or body. This will freak her out and make her feel terribly uncomfortable around you.

My Tampa Dating- Online Daters Not Always Honest
I hear people talking about internet dating all the time. I have a large number of friends and co-workers that are obsessed with finding the right person online. It has almost become comical to me the way a person will go home after work at night and spend their entire evening looking for someone to love online when they live in a city full of great people. Isn't it a bit ironic to stay out of society in order to find the right person in society to spend your life with?
I'll admit, I do know people that have met through internet dating that are now enjoying amazing marriages, but I'd like to suggest that the success rates are far less than we'd like to believe. Most people that look to internet dating as their only source of hope are still looking weeks, months and often years later for that special someone. You and I both know that life is far too short to be spent online wishing and hoping that your perfect match will somehow sign up for the same internet dating service that you have signed up for.
My desire is simply to warn anyone who feels like jumping into the internet dating scene and signing up. At least take some time to really ask yourself why internet dating seems to be your only option right now. If you are too busy to meet people, then do you really think you'll have time to build and maintain an online dating relationship? That is doubtful I think. Or if you're afraid to get out and meet strangers, then is it really a good solution to jump online and meet strangers? I didn't think so. It is vital that you know your reasons and your goals for internet dating before you begin the process.
If you have checked your goals and motivations and still feel like you want to head in the direction of internet dating, then do it with caution. Be aware that not everyone online has the same integrity or the same intentions. So be careful about who you are meeting and about what you're expectations are in the process. Don't make any rash decisions and decide to fly around the world to meet someone that you haven't even seen a photo of online. Just be wise, go slowly, and be yourself! One of the biggest problems with internet dating is that people are able to hide online and never have to fully be themselves.www.mytampadating.com

My Tampa Dating- Online Safety
Almost everything you read about online dating safety is directed at women but men need to be concerned as well. Perverts, sexual predators and weirdoes come in both sexes, all sizes, and all ages…as do, liars and cheaters. So men need to stay on guard, too.
It is common knowledge not to readily give out personal information to strangers. The reason for not doing so is as large as the number of strangers who want that information. If you come across a person who is giving out personal information and asking others to do the same, don’t do it. You don’t know what they want to use it for….and you had better believe they want to use it for something. That “something” will not be for your benefit. Men, also, need to guard their real names, addresses, phone numbers, and place of employment. Do not give that information to anyone online until you are confident that they are who they say they are.
Men, be wary of women who seem too financially needy. If they ask for money, in any of a dozen ways women can ask for money, cut the relationship off immediately. They are not looking for love or even friendship….they are looking for financial help.
If a woman gives you a contact number but you cannot ever reach her at that number, beware. If you always have to page them or text them and have them call you back, this could be a sign that what they are telling you is not the complete truth.
A need to get married and insecurity are other signs men should be very wary of. If the woman is pushing too hard for a commitment you aren’t ready to make, it might be a good time to head for the nearest exit.www.mytampadating.com

The Secret to Getting the Ideal Date
By Katty Dicus
The secret to getting the ideal date is in your profile. You've probably tried online dating sites, and were disappointed with who you were matched with. You may have given up on dating sites because you just can't find your perfect match. And you probably wonder if you'll ever find the right person. It seems like such a defeat and you're tired of trying, so you decide to give up.
You're tired of being lonely and you probably think it's always going to be this way. You've been down the wrong road trying to find the perfect match, ending up with losers. You're probably blaming yourself thinking there's something wrong with you, but that is not the case at all. It's quite easy to find the right mate, but you need to know how to create a successful online dating profile.
There is hope, because you're perfect match is actually waiting for you, but you just don't know it yet. Now it is time to create your online dating profile with a smile, because you're going to win the dating game this time around. Your profile is the biggest challenge when it comes to an online dating site.
You need to learn how to build your profile the correct way to get your profile looked at more often by the kind of person you are looking for. Think about meeting someone for the first time, and imagine what you would say to them to describe yourself. You don't want it to sound like a resume. The ideal profile is 200-350 words. You want the first 150 -200 words to be about you and 50-100 words about who you are looking for.
You need a great screen name because when someone is browsing profiles, it will grab their attention. A tagline can be about your personality or occupation. It's important to think of a tagline as a teaser. You want to leave them with the expression of wanting more. You don't want your tagline to be too long or you could get blocked. Just make sure it's a one-liner. You can get ideas by looking at other peoples taglines.
It's a must to add great photos to your profile. They need to be clear with no red-eye. Good lighting is essential. Make sure you are in good lighting and that your face can be clearly seen. You need to add several photos and make sure they are recent. You must be the only one in the photo and be sure to smile and look friendly and happy.
No one wants to see someone who looks miserable or sad in their profile picture. Also, you need to wear nice clothing, without the bikinis and t-shirts. Save those for later. And please don't hold props such as your cat or dog or a football or anything at all.
Don't give out your home number, your real email address or your place of work. Wait until you get to know the person first. You have your choice, because you will have many responses from your profile. By following these tips, you will get the date you desire.

How to Know If Your First Date Is a Match - 3 Things to Look For
By Arlie DuBois
Your first date should match the profile you requested, but some singles don't tell the truth on their profile. The only way to know if your first date is a match is when you meet him personally. Most singles talk and act different in person than they do on the phone.
Some dating sites don't take the time to screen the applicant or run a background check which weeds out the losers. Make sure you ask them if they do these two things.
They need to meet you personally so they can talk to you matching you up with a compatible person. This doesn't always work either, so the best way to know if your first date is a match is when you are face to face with him. There are 3 things to look for.
1 - While you're holding a conversation with him - If he doesn't appear interested in what you're saying or looking in the other direction while you're talking, then that is a sure sign he is not a match for you. He isn't showing you any consideration and wants this date to be his way or no-way.
He is looking for something different than what you are. You are probably looking for a serious relationship and maybe he is looking for a fun-time with no strings attached.
2 - If he tries to get to close - He might be interested in one thing and try to hit on you pushing you to leave the restaurant and enticing you to a motel. If he does that, turn him down. He is still a stranger to you and you don't know what he might try to do.
Don't let him pull you away. Stay in control and don't let him manipulate you. When you have stood your ground and he leaves without you anyway, then the date is all over and it's time to move on.
3 - Common Ground - If you find that neither of you have nothing in common, that's a sign he's not a match. You must have at least one thing in common to pursue a relationship. Even if it's just pets, that's a great interest. If he won't talk about his hobbies, interests or pets, than the conversation is over.
The best way to find out is to dig a little and ask him questions of interest. Before you go on your date, write down everything you can think of to ask him. You may have forgotten something that is of interest to both of you. It takes some common interest for a relationship to work.
These are the 3 things to look for to know if your first date is a match. Keep in mind that there are more fish in the sea if he is not a match. Don't let it get you down just because the date didn't work out this time. You just haven't found your dream date. Keep dating and you'll find him.

Tampa Dating Service-Meeting The Parents
Is your valor put to the test, when facing (her) Mom and Dad? Is meet-the-parents-day, a dreaded event in the near future? Do you enjoy each other’s company that Mom’s opinion or Dad’s plan is already part of the daily conversation? If things are going good, then you should expect that you would meet her parents sooner or later. But don’t dread the day, and instead welcome it with open arms. For here are sound advices for you, the gallant man, when the day comes to meet her parents.
First of all, not all parents are alike; so don’t assume that they’ll be like Mom and Pop. But, hopefully like her, you would want to impress, respect and not offend your own parents, wouldn’t you? Ask your girlfriend about her family. It would be useful to know any history on her father or mother’s side, her siblings, their work background and major health issues. It would be wise to find out about the parents’ politics, what kind of sense of humor they have, cultural or entertainment preference, if any. Asking these key questions will also show your girlfriend that you’re interested in knowing all about her family and that you attach a lot of importance in meeting her parents.
A careless remark about the latest bloopers by the country’s president may not sit well with her parents if they are staunch republicans from a red state. There are countless of other ways you can go wrong with her parents if you don’t do your homework. The objective is to leave a good impression on her father and mother after the first meeting.
Now, you would think that of the two, the father should be the primary focus. But, no; it is best to get your girlfriend’s mother on your side first. Think about it, she’s actually the one hosting the dinner in the house, isn’t she? Moreover, most mothers would partially judge you according to how happy their daughter looks being with you. When you’re hitting a rough spot in your relationship, your girlfriend would most likely run to her mother. In these times of trouble, her mother might become instrumental in bringing you back together again.
Fathers will generally have a harder time accepting you. Rightly so, because he was the main man in your girlfriend’s life. Now, it will obviously appear to her father that you are taking over that role. In some instances, the father might resent that. In most cases, they will size you up to see if you are really fit to take care of their daughter. So, come to think of it, fathers have a more natural obstacle to get close to you. But this will happen in time, especially if you’re careful in your first meeting.
Now what do you really do during the actual meeting? If it’s a dinner at their house, always bring a gift. You can give them a floral arrangement. Depending on their tastes, traditional items like a bottle of wine or a box of sweets also work.
When you get into a conversation with them, show interest in their family life. Look for common interests, hobbies and expound on them. Politely ask for their opinion and listen. It’s easy to talk about sports, pets and their line of work. Other good topics are your job, your family, movies, and current events. It would be wise to steer the conversation away from jokes, politics, personal matters, religion and money matters.
Flatter your girlfriend’s mother on her cooking, clothes or the home interiors. Compliment her cooking by finishing your plate. After dinner, offer to help clear the table of wash the dishes.
Eventually, your girlfriend’s parents will start to ask you some direct questions. You won’t panic if you’re prepared for this. Relax, look them in the eye and answer as nicely as you can. Try to think about their reason for asking the question and relate to this when answering the parents.
Remember, in the first meeting, be yourself and make sure to always observe good manners. Show respect to your girlfriend and her parents. Your girlfriend has probably told all of them about you and how great you are. So come prepared for the meeting and prove to her parents that you deserve to be with their daughter.www.mytampadating.com

Tampa Dating Service- Blind Dating
Blind dating is a common way for dating also. It often
occurs when someone is set up on a date through a
friend or a third party.
People are often set up on a blind date through a
friend or a co-worker who knows both parties and
believes they would make a great couple.
If you are recommended to go on a blind date by a
friend who knows you well, you might want to consider
it.
If your friend knows the other person as well as they
know you, they might be right about the two of you
connecting and getting along well together.
When you go on a blind date you might not have any
idea what the other person looks like or you might
have been shown a picture.
In all cases, the person you will be going out with
will be someone you have never met or spoke to before.
It is common to be nervous about going on a blind date
because you don’t know if the person will like you and
you don’t know if you will like the other person.
Some people really enjoy being set up on a blind date
and many blind dates turn into successful
relationships if the right people set the two of you
up.www.mytampadating.com

Tampa Dating Service- First Date Places to Go
That is an age-old question. Cave men had it made. They firmly believed in kidnapping and taking their date to a filthy cave out in the middle of nowhere. Those were what was known as the good old days. Now days first date destinations and plans are a little trickier. First let’s cover where NOT to go on a first date.
The old standby of dinner and a movie is a really poor choice for a first date. How will you get to know the lady if you are sitting in a darkened theater with a movie being shown? If you choose the movie, there is probably going to be a lot of frantic car chases and a lot of blood involved. Neither are conducive to creating a memorable evening.
Also, don’t take your date to your parent’s house! She will know right away that you are a mama’s boy and you will never see her again.
Don’t take your date to a sleazy bar with a motel out back. You will scare the poor woman to death. She will jump out of the car and hitchhike back to town believing that she would be safer with a burly truck driver than with you.
Now, some good first date ideas are:
Begin with a simple lunch or coffee date. You want to keep the date casual so suggesting meeting up for lunch or coffee can be a good start. This way, if the date didn’t go so well, you can end the date there but if you enjoy each other company, you have the rest of the day to spend getting to know each other better.
Here are some ideas of where to go if the lunch or coffee date tells you’re there is some good chemistry happening:
If it is the season, an amusement park or a theme park is a good first date idea. It doesn’t matter how old you are, we can all be big kids at heart. There’re so much you can do at amusement parks and theme parks that most likely you will forget about the dating pressure and just have fun.
Most well populated areas have an array of museums covering many different subjects. Visiting one that is dedicated to something that you have in common with the woman is another good first date idea.www.mytampadating.com

Tampa Dating Service-Profile Writing Tips
Men’s Killer Online Dating
Profile Tip!
Are you dating online and not meeting the women you crave and would like to meet?
I know what you are going through and it can be a lonely place when you aren't getting the results you desire. In this situation you have to hang in there and never give up!
Tip #1
Test your replies from what you write in your first and second emails. Save your emails in a file and use the ones that get the most replies as templates...everyone is unique though.
Tip#2
You must comment on personal things she has written in her profile. To show you have made the effort to find out something about her.
And remember, nothing works 100% of the time.
I still scratch my head when a profile ignores my interest...and I match her criteria well...go figure.
I've just finished dating a lady and am back in the internet dating game...
And loving it...one thing about using online dating sites is that whenever you find yourself single, you can be comfortable in the knowledge that it is only a matter of time before you meet someone else.
Or just enjoy dating a few different ladies until you do...
It's the most efficient / effective way to date that I'm aware of...
There is a LOT of women using online dating sites. This is good news for us healthy single men who don’t like hanging out in smoky bars and clubs.
Attention!
I'm about to reveal a killer profile tip which I'm certain I've never revealed before.
I was aware of it but never really made the effort to use it.
As I was preparing a new profile name, photo and text to go back online, I decided to make the effort.
The results have been pretty darn good, and I've only been back online for four weeks or so!
It’s got the type of women I'm interested in meeting, to contact me straight away.
No messing about with virtual kisses and then me having to pay for the contact.
They contacted me and sent their mobile number with the email!
Yehaa! I like that… :-]
Are you ready, let’s look at it,
Here it is;
Men’s Killer Profile Tip!
When editing or making up your profile, pretend you are a copywriter.
By this I mean imagine you have been paid by a company to write a profile convincing a client to be interested in that company’s goods.
So to do that you need to tell the reader this;
'WHATS IN IT FOR THEM!'
Read profiles of men in your area and age group to scope out the competition.
Notice how often they use the word ' I.'
So you’ll see they are focusing on themselves, instead of the reader.
This is good for you, so that your profile will stand out from the crowd.
For example;
Instead of writing, 'I love going to the beach for a swim.'
Write it this way, 'Do you enjoy going to the beach for a walk and a swim?'
Subtle difference, but it works!
Instead of this, 'I like to cook.'
Write it, 'Do you like your man to cook for you while having a glass of wine together.’
Get the idea?
So why not edit your profile and delete as many ' I's ' as you can.
Or set up a new one on a different site and see the results...
You will notice the difference quickly.
Focus on what you think the type of women that interests YOU, would like to read and do.
I think you get the picture with this and I won't bother with endless examples.
This truly is a KILLER tip!
Try it out and good luck to you!
So instead of writing the word ‘I,’ rephrase it and use the word ‘you.’
Simple but effective and gets good results…
Until next time and more dating tips, keep smiling...
This articles quote;
‘There is always a way to succeed, if you are committed.'
All the best…
Regards

Tampa Dating- Cheap Dating Ideas
In every relationship, it is important that couples do things together to keep a closeness and intimacy in the emotional aspect of their partnership. It is great to go on a date where you buy your sweetheart a bottle of champagne that costs more than your cable bill for that month, or where the meal costs more than a week’s worth of groceries. However, while it is fun to splurge on an expensive, fancy, and romantic date, for most couples, this is not feasible financially to pull of more than a couple of times a month, if not less frequently. Though you sometimes can not afford to go on a costly date, it is still imperative to go out with each other, even if it is a cheap date idea.
Now some of you will cringe at the words cheap date idea. But think of the phrase used in a good context. Just because your date idea is inexpensive, doesn’t mean that you can’t have a fun cheap date idea. Do not sell short the perfection that can happen by just being with your partner one on one. Use creativity to be able to make up for spending lots of money, and your date will notice that you went all out personally instead of just financially. You will definitely be rewarded for the obvious effort that you have put in. Anyone can buy what it takes for a great date. It takes a special person to be able to come up with a cheap, creative, fun date idea.
When thinking of a date to take your loved one on, there are 3 essential things to remember. First, obviously, keep cost in mind. The goal is to have a fun cheap date, and while "fun" is very important, "cheap" is an important part of this date theme as well. Second, take into account what your significant other likes to do. This is important if you are going to have an enjoyable time. Try to find activities that interest both of you in your cheap date idea. A third thing to remember is to be yourself. The point of this date is NOT to show how much money you can toss around. As was said before, anyone can do that. This date is all about the togetherness and closeness that you make as your goal for the night. Forget the fact that you aren’t spending a lot of money to keep up with the "Jones’" date. Just remember that this date is all about the two of you and the time you are spending together as a couple.
Whatever cheap date idea you decide to go with, always make sure you keep these three things in mind first and foremost. Keep it low-cost. Make it fun for you and your partner by taking his or her opinions and likes in mind; try to find activities that suit you both. Be yourself on this date. Keep in mind that you are trying to get closer in your relationship, and don’t worry about not spending a lot of money. If you have got the right man or woman, they won’t be concerned with how much money you spend as they will be with what type of things you put together because you care.www.mytampadating.com

Tampa Dating Service Romance
Can you say “I love you” too many times? Well, if you don't really mean it of course you can. Or maybe it's the unimaginative ways we express it that compel us to stop using the words “I love you” altogether.
Love is not just an emotion or feeling. Love is something we must see with our eyes, not just feel with our heart. In order to keep the word love from being common place we must keep it alive with the things we do for that special person in our life. Be it a soft burning, sweet smelling candle lighting a dark room with a delicious dinner for two on the table, and the soothing sound of music in the background; surprising your sweetheart with something romantic is a great way of showing them how much you love and care for them.
Too many times we think it is enough just to say “I love you” to our sweetheart. We are then off the hook to really work at keeping the relationship fresh and exciting. If you are clueless as what would put the “sparkle” back in your relationship, try a few if these simple things:
Give your sweetheart a wonderful back rub, gently telling them to relax and unwind from their day at work or with the kids, etc. While you are both relaxed, this is a good time to tell them you love them and that they mean the world to you. When you take the time to give them your time and attention without expecting something in return, this makes the word “love” more meaningful.
Try arranging a special day for the two of you to do something the other enjoys. Participate in that activity with them, even though it's not your favorite thing to do and give them all your attention and just cherish the day. The words “I love you” will come freely from both of you at the end of the day. Your sweetheart will see that you mean what you say by giving of yourself.
If you enjoy writing or are creative you might try your hand at composing a short poem or “love” letter to them, or buy a beautiful card or small little gift. Go ahead and leave it under the bed pillow for them, or anywhere they might be surprised to find it.
How about doing some chores or work around the house before your sweetheart asks you to? Maybe even do something more than they would expect you to do. Before their very eyes it is done, without them nagging you. How much you love them couldn't be more apparent.
When said at the appropriate times, with just the right feeling from your heart, truly the simple words “I love you” can be the most exhilarating sounds your ears will hear.www.mytampadating.com
